Quote:Monthly Reporting Period: April 2007
For the forth monthly reporting period of 2007, we recorded 8161 total sales, an increase of 10.4% over March, with a single week high of 2214 for the weekly reporting period of 4/15 to 4/21.
Traffic has been down along with decreased participation, reflecting the industry trend for the first quarter and part of the second quarter of 2007. The seller body continues to take shape, and sellers who understand the nature of growth and patience in business, particularly online, continue to lead the surge and reap the rewards of that understanding.
The BusinessBuilder tools continue to play an important role in overall sales volume, particularly Buy More Now with DynamicDiscounts. If you are a seller and you have not yet subscribed to SmartSell Pro, we strongly recommend you do so. For current SmartSell Pro subscribers, be sure to enable Buy More Now, configure your DynamicDiscounts, and create rules for display/presentation in your Merchandising Manager. Buy More Now may be the single most useful and important selling tool in the BusinessBuilder suite!
We anticipate strong activity in the upcoming weeks and months, and we encourage all sellers to stock the shelves, and use all of the BusinessBuilder tools to help increase sales and build a long-term customer base.

Bolding mine. Funny how traffic is down and there has been a decrease in participation but some how sales were 10.4% higher than the month before :blinkie:

Flying High's situation is yet another example of a seller simply misunderstanding the billing terms. Â This happens time and time again, WP is correct, and yet posters here are lashing out at them. Â The invoice that this seller paid before requesting to close the store was the invoice for the fee that posted to their account on March 24th. Â The fee that posted to their account on April 24th still needs to be paid before the account can be closed, and the final month can NOT be prorated. Â This is very clear in the billing terms on the site, but yet seller after seller after seller gets mad at WP for no reason, and everyone here jumps on the bandwagon. Â Here we go again.......

Except that they asked for their store to be closed BEFORE the billing date and WP dragged it out until it was after that date. You really should get the whole story (or at least read about it fully) before blaming THIS seller ....

User391 that may be in some cases but not in every case. Â Some sellers have closed before another month was posted to their account and were still told they owed another month. Â Some people who never even listed or did anything have received emails from WP stating that they owe money. Â Also look at what happened to Truth this morning he did not do anything but post on the site and was sent a bill from WP. Â
Ask yourself this question why doesn't WP have a link to close your store like every other site does? Â :blinkie:
You must be pretty busy today Ray that old DELETE key is just red hot!!!!!

No need to answer, I know the reason. Ray paid $518.00 for the rscript boxed software and it didn't come with that feature. There is nothing for Ray to do in this case but wait for the rscript programmers to place a module for this feature.
let the truth be told
