It appears some sellers at WP are getting mighty testy these days - defending their darling corner of wombat poo poo like a dog defending a petrified bone.
Now we have Poopers publically admitting they couldn't care less if they make a sale. They'll gladly dump their monthly fees into Ray's wallet simply to spite TT.  :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: And others that are hauntingly similar to the Grand Boinktard's own style.

Is Waglepop worth $9.95 per month?
As a seller who suffered the Ebay madness for six years, I have to say YES!
I just recently shifted my Store listings from Ebay to Wagglepop as Ebay had been unprofitable for the last two years. Lots of sales there, but LOTS of fees and in the last two years way too many "unpleasant" people of various flavors have been allowed to run amok there.
I've sold on line at my own website since 1999 also and i agree with Wagglepop CC2 that the online market is like no other. Unfortunately, a small number of "unpleasant" people find it easy to seize the various online forums as pulpits to thoroughly trash any individual or business they wish.
Days after setting up at Wagglepop, I received a message from such an "unpleasant" character posing as a Wagglepop member warning me not to deal with Wagglepop. I reported this to WP, who promptly closed his account, but he's likely still active under other names.
An online business may have to spend much of their attention reacting to such harassments.
It is exactly because of these "unpleasant" folk that I don't miss Ebay and will support Wagglepop at $9.95 per month WHETHER OR NOT I SELL ANYTHING HERE AT ALL.
Wagglepop is professionally designed and excellently presented and well deserves a chance to survive this inevitable low point after their startup hoopla.
Ask yourself - Is it worth $9.95 per month to support this excellent alternative to the 800 pound gorilla that is Ebay? "If you build it, they will come" is still valid, but it takes way more time than one would think to make it happen.
Stick in there, Wagglepop. I'll support your alternative to the Gorilla for $9.95 per month.......Won't you?
And the reply by one of our favoriteÂ

Steve, AWESOME post and I agree with you 100%.
Also I am totally interested in making my own soap, so I'll be shopping in your store very soon! Best wishes to you for great success here! I personally would not consider selling online without including a Wagglepop store as part of my business. I would think that most intelligent online sellers would come to the same conclusion.
It is a very pathetic and yet apparently common practice for "unpleasant" characters to contact Wagglepop store owners, especially those who are new, to try to convince them not to continue selling on Wagglepop. Shame on them!
And, seems to be a bit of selective enforcement in board policy. Check this "positive, constructive, helpful" post. Actually, this one sounds very much like something their cult leader might have said.

HHHMMMM.... where to start. Wagglepop has been great for me. Listen, nature is always to self doubt when starting all over like many of us that are still here did. Some make it and some don't. Some tried, but not hard enough. And if the post and boards are more important to them then working the business that they so desperately wanted to make a success then let them keep being busy bodies and spewing the garbage and that is what they are and that is what they say. I have heard that they think some of the sellers over here have nice stuff and that some of us are nice, but they wont buy here because we sell here, well crap on them, I DONT want that kind of customer, NOT even for a $1.00, and I am sure that this post will show up somewhere and I will be trashed for it, but again, I don't give a BIG RATS BEHIND! THIS IS MY SITE TO SELL and I AM A SUCCESS without WASTING MY TIME, those kind of trash talking people are out of my life, off wagglepop and going no where in life as long as anger gets to them, no where in life as long as they continue to trash sellers who are here for themselves and for their business. Personally, I have made all my goals I set for this past year and other PAST (Read my lips PAST) sellers who have nothing better to do than waste their time bashing the GOOD sellers here and so they can go screw. Who do they think they are Gods of the internet .... NOT .... let me tell you something about people who do that kind of thing, they can brag all they want about where they sell now and how well they are doing, but it was their own stupidity that put them in a place to bark, let them bark, the more they bark, the more we can list, the more we list the more we can sell. So, let the rabid dogs pee where they want and mark their territority, we have ours here and the banned dogs can do what they do best, go in the corner and lick themselves.
ok, if any REAL wagglepoppers are offended by my rant, I will personally apoligize to you, but I really am defending your honor.
SO OVER THE BS

My, my, my........If those posts don't show
ANGER and RESENTMENT I don't know what does.
They have just shown what a bunch of
hypocrites they are.
Why do you feel the need to blame Wagglepops lack of flourishing on us??
Why do you think everyone who is no longer there didn't have sales or didn't try hard enough?
Remember that 800 lb gorilla ad? So, whatever happened to that? Or the $75,000 for advertising? Or the upgrades?
Do you remember this post from your glorified Customer Service Rep:

gengemgold,
Welcome to Wagglepop
Regarding Firefox, I would recommend using one of the fully approved browsers when using Wagglepop; either Internet Explorer or AOL Explorer.
The weekly Sales Reports can be accesed from the top of the Community home page until the integration of a "completed items" search to give sellers (and buyers) a solid idea of the activity and trends
Karen - WP Customer Care
That is only one little example of the false stories told by Wagglepop.
If
Wagglepop had NEVER came on the boards making a ton of false promises, then we probably wouldn't be here bashing them now would we??
If Wagglepop and all you fantastic sellers are so great, why don't you start practicing what you preach and quit reading these boards!
We have a right to complain and tell anyone we want about the lies and poor customer service of such lousy sites such as Wagglepop.
This is America, we do have freedom of speech, and until everyone knows it isn't the sellers we find rude, but THE OWNER, then I will not stop spreading the news!
So, you can "
go screw!"Â
