From the WP boards...Seller math made more sense even back then than Wagglemath.

Thank you very much, I have enjoyed to be here for a while. It is a great site, you all are wonderful and it was a refreshing pleasure to meet you all.
But the little analizer I am, .I have done a short math.
Is Wagglepop really cheap?
I wouldn't say so.
WP has currently appr. 70,000 core listings, Ebay has appr. 13,000,000 core listings. This is appr. 0.5% of the Ebay listings..
Now let's look at the fees. I pay in average $500 Ebay fees a month (Paypal excluded). If the fee structure in WP were equal, I would have to pay here 0.5% of what I pay in Ebay, which would be $2.50. But in reality I pay $9.95 PLUS FVF, which isn't much, since I don't sell a lot. But only the store fees are already 4 times as much than all the fees I pay in Ebay even with more than double as many listings than I have here.
This is based only on the items listed.
Now let's have a look at the sell through rate.
With $500 fees I have a sell through rate on Ebay of $2,700 a month. (average) This is 5.4 times more than I pay fees.
With a $11 fee right now here on Wagglepop, I had a sell through rate of $25,. This is 2.28 times more than I pay fees.
...which leads me to the conclusion, Wagglepop isn't cheap. It is more than triple as expensive as Ebay is, if you see the relation.
Not to mention the fact that you don't even get the features and well developed easy to use software that Ebay has, for this outrageous price.
It looks cheap only to those that don't do the math.
Sorry, I liked this site a lot until I found time enough to use my brain.
Good luck to you all.
