Ray the expert seller has spoken. How is a bulklister "ebay related" and why wouldn't it be needed?  Amazon has a bulklister, virtually every ecommerce shopping cart package also offers a bulklister (either built-in or as an add-on).  A bulklister is a necessity.

On a related note, some trivia for current poppers looking to Ray for expert store advice: Before WP1 launched Ray was strictly an auction seller.  He wasn't an eBay Store owner although he did start hanging out on the eBay stores board about 2 months before announcing WP1. His eBay store wasn't opened until after WP1 failed.  He focused Wagglepop on stores during WP1 (and again with WP2) strictly because stores provide a monthly revenue stream.  Ray's actual experience running an online store is very limited and for the most part has been a complete failure (as proven by his losses on eBay the past 2 years).

I just went through the entire registration process, and saw absolutely no opt-out (or in) section. I never saw it on there when I was using the site. Unless there are some serious changes to the site's members area (doubtful since it means spending the bankroll) the entire privacy policy is a fraud. How many members really believe Ray will opt them out? Can he show proof?

So, here we have everything about AndKaRay:
He sells on eBay, but not on his own site, all the while branding eBay sellers as idiots for allowing the changes to keep happening.
He threatens sellers through his MPD syndrome that they'd better get the store numbers up, or he will raise their fees.
He thinks a glorified online flea market is a "specialty site."
He really thinks the entire "OSC" will believe he spent over $150K on Wagglepop... Well, he did, that was salary for his 3 incarnations. Not a penny went into the site after the script was installed. Proof? What new features other than ads to make him money have been added?
He has serious mind control powers. Come on, he has spent almost 2 years brainwashing about 100 ex-eBayers who used to believe in things like sell-through, sales, and profit. Remember how many were in the Waco compound?
He owns 3 classic rusted pile of junk 40 year old Cougars, and bought at least one on eBay.
He lives in the most disgustingly green colored house I have ever seen.
Oh yeah... he places his SPAM policy at the bottom of a LONG page hoping you won't see it, and gives no realistic way to opt out of spam from his "partners!" Which one would that be Ray? The one that advertised virtual sex, Nigerian scams, or make millions on eBay? They were all in my mailbox yesterday, and I have never used it for anything but Wagglepop.

Just some more facts. It's hilarious how when the WP leader was proven to be selling on eBay, the defenders ran for the hills and wouldn't even respond. Now, with this showing Ray WILL sell your info now, no one will step up to the plate to defend him.

I never opted in. Now, I am emailing him to opt out. This should be funny.

I don't see an opt out/in in MyWP.  The only email related settings concern auction listing related notices--there's nothing about opting-out of 3rd party advertising/opting out of sharing your info with 3rd parties.  See below:

Ok here is my question regarding the "new" policy..... Do we know if or when it changed? Did he ever announce the change to the current and older sellers there? I was wondering if it had changed after I closed my account, and with the influx of spam I have been receiving I am not surprised to see where it is coming from, I have to ask, does that hold him somewhat legally responsible if he is selling personal information and Identities are stolen? Is there a way this can be traced back to him?  WE all know what those spammers can do and where they come from and money is all they care about, I would think the Federal Government would be all over him watching him with a heads up of course? you would think he would be on the radar with  IRS etc..... seeing how if it did change after I ended my account, I didn't either have the chance to opt in or out, if it even was a real option?... and if my information is being sold without my consent. How can we and the thousands of other ex sellers find out. I would also think that those sellers building brands and reputations could have trouble down the road with Ray's systematically uncontrollable behavior? How much info does he have on wp'er, ex or otherwise? There has got to be a way to shut this man down! This is something all wagglepoppers should be reading again I think..... too bad I can't get on that site cause I think a forum message relating to a question regarding that policy would be something worth having pulled as a negative post...... I don't give a rats ass about the die hard cult members cause they have been warned over and over again but I do worry about the newbies signing up thinking its a great place. Many people don't pay too much to the small print or have not been around long enough to understand the crap he is spewing, my concern is for the small mom and pops that are not computer savvy looking to get off ebay and take PS'ers spamnation word and signs up, then wp closes down  and those cute 60 something mom and pop's lose their savings because ray sold their information..... This pisses me off!! All it would take is an unsuspecting person to open a phishing scam letter and boom they can lose everything or go through hell fixing it. And I think we all know that there are still in this day and age millions of people who still don't know what to look for when opening emails, I use my 60 something parents as examples...

We've had an account there since the site reopened (for "research" purposes 8) ) and I never received any notification of a change in the privacy policy.

What type of service or feature would ever require the sharing of personal information with an advertiser or sponsor?

Sharing information with a service provider (i.e. merchant account provider/merchant gateway, shipping fulfillment center) is often necessary during the transaction process (you can't process credit cards without doing it) but there is never a valid reason for sharing personal information with advertisers or sponsors, or for selling personal information.

There are several Federal, State, and international laws and guidelines that govern the exchange of private information and data (see the "Privacy Standards and Principles" section on my store's policy for a list of all of them)

Actually, I think this was part of the "privacy policy" all along -- or at least for a very long time, at least from before the March "Grand Re-Opening". I remember bringing it to this thread sometime around then. I'd have to see if I can dig it up, but this was a major concern of mine -- that there was nothing "private" about the "privacy policy" and no "opt out" feature.

Edit: As I recall, the right to share members' information with "third parties" was not actually in the Registraton Agreement. It was buried somewhere in the TOS, and it basically stated that WP can and will "share" information with "third party partners." My concern was not only for the members still there, but for the thousands of X-members who had no protections whatsoever. Ray has all our personal information and will forever, and ever, amen to do with whatever he likes.

From an eyewitness perspective I would have to agree with Sneaky on this one. Anybody interested in the car forsale? I could go knock on the door and ask him if he would take payments in the form of $9.95 a month.
