Platzki, I think you have it covered. That is what would happen. If no one has posted anything about the downward trend when I get back from being my daughter's taxi driver, I may have to post about it. I don't mind getting attacked for a second day, especially if it will open some of the sellers eyes. But maybe that is just wishful thinking! :

Yeah... there's nothing exciting going on over there, I just checked. Â Go ruffle some feathers :turkey1:..........LOL

ARGH!!! How could I have forgotten that???
I think I blocked it out!!!!
Welcome to all the new members! I've been busy the last few days and haven't had time to properly welcome all of you.
When you're done reading this thread, you can read the original documentation of Wagglepop 1 over here:

Watch as it unfolds (and the fearless Ray makes a fool of himself in public).
(Whenever your eyes stop hurting from this thread, that is.).
Looks like another popper was thinking the same thing as we were. I have pasted her post below from the help WP advertising thread
"Well, I agree with you, Bob. Working together is the key in making this a successful selling site.
The advertising issue will not go away. It is one of the most important areas, in a business.
I still don't understand the logic in waiting until the "shelves are stocked". There are around 700 stores here. In September, there were over 900. The shelves were not fully stocked then as they are not, now.
Mid 2007, was given as the time when more things would be implemented. If advertising is one of them, will there be the desired number of listings that seem to be needed before WP begins advertising "outside"?
I really like Wagglepop and sincerely want it to become a bona fide competitor in online selling. The Sellers are doing everything imaginable to help draw Buyers here. But we can only go so far.
The Buyers, who are finding their way here, are seeing the number of items listed, now, just as Buyers would see the same, if the site had advertising. What is the difference?
If there is a worry that Buyers will not return if advertising is done prematurely, then what about the few who have found us, now?
Wouldn't advertising draw more Sellers, also? More Sellers - more stock?
If the cost is an issue, then can't there be some exceptions made by WP as far as Sellers using the WP Logo?
I know this is a subject that has been addressed before but we need to work together to find a solution, now.
I am willing to do whatever is agreed upon.
Thank you to everyone who has been working so hard to make WP the best!
Jan "
Can't wait to see what they have to say about this.......

Then, PLOINK!
Thanks Thentavius for the blast from the past. I only read about 14 pages of that but it reminds me of when and why I started questioning the wisdom of signing up with WP1. I HAD been one of their biggest cheerleaders until then.
Thentavious and thanks for the link!
I've been skimming through several pages and so far here's my favorite:

Since I own the business, I'll do any damned thing I please.
If you can't handle that, then hit the bricks.

Nice way to treat your customers/potential customers! Given the current "WP may not be for you" attitude when faced with questions, sounds like its the sameÂ
